About the Midnight Clear Cross Stitch Pattern
- Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate
- Finished Design Size: This pattern measures 4.6″ x 4.6″ (11.6 x 11.6 cm) unframed when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth
- Stitches Used: full cross-stitch, back-stitch, knots
This easy pattern is a wonderful project for beginner stitchers. If you aren’t a fan of knots, you can easily replace the knots with full cross-stitches.

Materials and Tools
This pattern requires the following materials.
Fabric: I chose a 14-count Aida. You can use any colour.
Threads: DMC is my absolutely go-to for floss, but of course, you can choose the brand you love most. There are a number of online tools that will convert the numbers to the brand of your choice.
- DMC BLANC
- DMC 415 – Pearl Grey
- DMC 336 – Navy Blue
- DMC 762 – Pearl Grey very light
- DMC 3362 – Pine Green dark
- DMC 3826 – Golden Brown
- DMC 3363 – Pine Green medium
- DMC 3364 – Pine Green
- DMC 321 – Christmas Red
- DMC 939 – Navy Blue very dark
Embroidery Hoop: This pattern when finished on 14-count Aida will fit nicely into a 5-inch hoop.
